                 Yogi Vemana University College of Engineering (YSREC of YVU), Proddatur was established in 2008-2009 and renamed as YSR Engineering College of Yogi Vemana University in the year 2010. The college is committed to produce engineers in established and conventional disciplines in general and in the areas of Computers, Information and Communication Engineering in particular. Technical education institution with Government support at Proddatur as a constituent college to Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa to cater to the needs and dreams of rural students of Rayalaseema in particular and Andhra Pradesh in general


      The University college presently offers six conventional disciplines of Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Communications,  Mechanical and Electrical & Electronics Engineering leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Engineering. Along with the above the College is offered a new course in "Metallurgical Engineering " from the academic year 2010.
